How to Play RingWord

The Goal

Form words using letters on the hexagon grid to score points. Strategic selection is key to maximizing your score and clearing levels!

Selecting Letters

• Click hexagons to build a word. Minimum length is 3 letters.
• The Ring Rule: You can only pick a letter if it is in the same ring or an outer ring relative to the previous letter. You cannot move back toward the center!
• The board starts at Ring 0 (center) and goes out to Ring 3 (outermost).

Strategic Scoring

Every time you select a letter, it boosts the value of all other letters on the board:

• Letters in the same ring get +1 base point.
• Letters in outer rings increase their current value by 50%.

Planning your path from the center outwards can lead to massive word scores!

Game Modes

• Classic: Reach the level's point goal within 10 words to progress. Level goals follow the Fibonacci sequence (100, 200, 300, 500, 800...). You get one shuffle per level.
• Endless: No word limit. Earn shuffles and board resets by hitting score thresholds.
